His Heart for Mine

During the first day of the Central Luzon Leaders' Camp (May 19, 2014), I received a very special vision from God during the first worship session.

He showed me a picture of a big, flawless diamond. In my mind, I saw that it was so big and huge that it momentarily blinded me. So I asked Him what it meant and He revealed to me that it was His HEART.

Like the diamond, His heart is strong.

Like the diamond, His heart is pure.

Like the diamond, His heart is priceless.

Like the diamond, His heart is rare.

Like the diamond, His heart is a gift undeserved.

In contrast my heart is like a piece of ordinary glass.

My heart is fake, trying and failing to imitate His glow.

My heart is cheap, easily bought by idols of my own making.

My heart is fragile, easily broken by mere words, actions or lack thereof....

But then I feel the hand of God, reaching down, exchanging my broken, fragile, cheap heart for His precious, pure and strong heart.

I slowly shake my head, because I am fully aware, that whatever I do, I would never be able to pay for His heart.

But He showed me the CROSS, and He reminded me that I don't have to pay for anything, because He already did.

World's largest flawless gem

The Road of The Roses

I previously posted this on my Facebook account 4 years ago.... I just want to post it again as a reminder for me never to compromise and to wait on God.

I heard this from a podcast shared in Grace Tokyo Church... This was a dream by the Ms. Ly
nette... I was very inspired... Let me recall this dream of hers...Hope you will be too..

In my dream I saw a young woman walking along a path. And the path would twist and turn as it went through life. Along side this path that she was taking on, about a yard apart, were planted single long stemmed roses. And I notice in my dream that once in a while, along the roses, a man would come up and pick up one of the roses and offered it to her. But she ignored the roses and simply kept on walking. Her eyes were absolutely fixed on the end of the road.

So the road twisted and turned for a while and before long, out of the side of my vision, I saw another road coming into my vision. And I noticed on that road was a man who was walking on the road with his eyes fixed on something on the end of his road. And pretty soon, the rose just began to come closer and closer together and before long, the two roads became one. It struck me because the road looked exactly alike. And at the point were the two roads came together, the man simply reached over and took her hand but they never turned to look at each other. And in right arm, was the biggest bouquet of roses I have ever seen. So when he took her hand, even though they are looking straight up the path, he simple handed her the roses. And now hand in hand, they kept on walking along the road. Before long, they came into the most beautiful garden I have ever seen. The thing that struck me most about the garden, was the presence of God strong in that place.

At this point, I woke up from my dream, and what struck me most was that I remembered the dream. So over the next few days, I kept on asking God to help me understand what this dream means. And this is what I heard Him speak to me:
He said Lynette, I called you to a road of my own choosing. And I want you to keep your eyes fixed on Me. At times in your life, there will be  men that will come along your path with good things to offer you. But I do not want you to be DISTRACTED with the good things that they  have. For at the proper time of my own choosing, I have called you to be joined with a man whose eyes are fixed on the same thing. And when he comes into your life, he will NOT distract you. But he will strengthen you. He weill have all those qualities that you desire in your heart. And the two of you together will walk hand in hand, with your eyes fixed on me. Doing work that I have assigned for you. And at the end of your life, you will enter into my great reward.

So of course I was so encouraged by my vision. I thought that when God gave me that vision, then this must mean it will happen immediately, what I did not know was that God gave me that dream for me to hold on for many years to come.

This reminds me so much of Joseph's dream. Although they both received the vision at a young age, it doesn't mean that it will happen immediately. God is still preparing us for the great task for us.

As for love, let us not be distracted with what the men and women of the world has to offer. Let us encourage one another and TRUST God and his perfect timing, for he will bring everything he started into completion.
