Let the School Year Begin!

Thank you Lord for another year to mold minds and shape hearts.

Thank you Lord for another year to teach.

Thank you Lord for all the inspirations to do these and more. You are truly a creative God and though I may never match your brilliance, I thank you for giving me the patience to try.

Thank you for my school, Montessori De Sagrada Familia and its administrators whose support embolden us to give our best.

Thank you for the best workmates, the MDSF Pre-school Dept whose unwavering support is unparalleled.

Thank you for our parents for entrusting their little children to us and for partnering with us giving the best education for their children...

Thank you Lord for the children you have entrusted to my care for their lives are irreplaceable.

Thank you for reminding me that you have not only entrusted me with their learning, but with their lives and souls as well.

Thank you Lord because they may be tough and tiring things ahead, but Your Spirit and wisdom has gone ahead and made everything perfect in its own time.

Remind me Lord to seek you in all things and in everyday routines because through you the ordinary becomes extraordinary...

Let no works of the enemy such as laziness and other hazards prosper against me, my family, my school, my students, and my church....

His Heart for Mine

During the first day of the Central Luzon Leaders' Camp (May 19, 2014), I received a very special vision from God during the first worship session.

He showed me a picture of a big, flawless diamond. In my mind, I saw that it was so big and huge that it momentarily blinded me. So I asked Him what it meant and He revealed to me that it was His HEART.

Like the diamond, His heart is strong.

Like the diamond, His heart is pure.

Like the diamond, His heart is priceless.

Like the diamond, His heart is rare.

Like the diamond, His heart is a gift undeserved.

In contrast my heart is like a piece of ordinary glass.

My heart is fake, trying and failing to imitate His glow.

My heart is cheap, easily bought by idols of my own making.

My heart is fragile, easily broken by mere words, actions or lack thereof....

But then I feel the hand of God, reaching down, exchanging my broken, fragile, cheap heart for His precious, pure and strong heart.

I slowly shake my head, because I am fully aware, that whatever I do, I would never be able to pay for His heart.

But He showed me the CROSS, and He reminded me that I don't have to pay for anything, because He already did.
